What is the process for a commission?

Here’s how it works:

Initial Chat: We’ll discuss your idea, and I’ll help you refine the vision. Don't worry if you're not too sure what you want - I love helping you bring a even the smallest of ideas to life.

Quote & Agreement: I’ll provide a quote and timeline.

Design & Draft: I’ll share sketches or concepts for your feedback.

Final Artwork: Once approved, I’ll complete the design and send it your way!

How long does it take to complete a commission?

Timelines will of course vary based on the project. Typically though:

  • Personal illustrations: 2–4 weeks
  • Event stationery: 4–8 weeks
  • Wedding stationery: ideally we'll start collaborating a couple of months before your big day
  • Branding or business commissions: 4–8 weeks

Please let me know if you’re working with a tight deadline - there's usually some wiggle room!

How much do commissions cost?

It's hard to say as pricing depends on the complexity and scope of your project. Once we’ve discussed your idea, I’ll provide you with a quote.

If you’d like a starting point though, smaller projects like personal prints begin at £70, while more detailed designs like event stationery begin at £400 for a classic package.

I can also provide individual illustrations (e.g. your pet illustrated to add to your wedding invites) starting from £70 if you have a DIY project in the works!
